Each year Podoblock sponsors Al Equine courses, providing our innovative product for use in a demonstrable setting during the workshops. This year will be supporting modules 3, 4 & 5.
About the events
Continuous practical training for professionals with an emphasis on locomotor system injuries and sports medicine. The training has four workshops covering anatomical, biomechanical and imaging assessment of all regions of the horse and the main therapies. Two additional modules will cover the use in clinical practice of quantitative movement analysis and field sports medicine.
Note from the organiser:
We have our next training on the 16th September, this time at the beautiful Stud of Alter (https://alterreal.pt ) and using the facilities of the hotel Vilagalé there (https://www.vilagale.com/br/hoteis/alentejo/vila-gale-collection-alter-real). We will use the equine hospital there for practice/wetlabs. The next module will be about conditions of the elbow, carpus, metacarpus and fetlock. Radiation protection is starting to be implemented with equine ambulatory vets here. In June, I led the process since I became president of the APMVE, the Portuguese Equine Practitioners Association.
Sincerely yours,
Mónica Mira, Dr. med. vet
